WHAT IS INSTAGRAM?

Instagram is a popular social networking app made for sharing photos and videos from a smartphone. Similar to Facebook (who owns it), everyone who creates an Instagram account has a profile and a newsfeed with posts that remain public forever. Although it is not one of the two top favorite teen apps (Snapchat and TikTok are), it is the one they use most! Don't forget to remind your teens that unless they make their profiles private (in the app's settings), anyone can view their feed.
